Dr. Silva’s clinical interests include working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families presenting with a range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns, including anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), social anxiety, separation anxiety, specific phobias, panic symptoms, school-related anxiety, perfectionism, depressive symptoms, emotional regulation difficulties, attention and executive functioning concerns, autism-related needs, and adjustment-related stressors.

Anxiety and related internalizing concerns are a particular area of interest for Dr. Silva. She enjoys helping youth and families better understand patterns of worry, avoidance, reassurance-seeking, emotional distress, and difficulty coping with uncertainty. Her work focuses on helping clients build practical skills that can be used across home, school, and community settings.
